Sharing a fun project I made for The Cutting Cafe Design Team weekly inspiration. I used the The Pocket Shaped card, and found some denim paper in my stash to use and after assembling the pocket, I stitched around the edges. I added brads to the top corner as well. I decided to use a pack of paper, punch outs and stickers from Crate Paper Story Teller Collection.
The base of the card is covered in paper from this kit and a strip of red cardstock cut at 1" x 4-1/4". I added a sticker border to the pocket that matches the paper. After adhering the pocket to the card I added the circle sentiment included in the The Pocket Shaped card file.
For the piece inside the pocket I created a pull out card where you can include a gift card. I used the red lace doily and flower punch out pieces from the paper collection. Adhering them to a piece of 2-1/2" x 5" yellow cardstock, with a small pocket envelope I found in my stash attached to the inside.
