Bookmarks at Digi Haven

 

Another fortnight challenge starts today at Digi Haven

 

Our Theme:  BOOKMARKS

 

The Design Team had the opportunity to create using Monthly Bookmark bundle

 from our SPONSOR for this challenge...

I choose the month of October for my bookmark

I used the following Copic Markers to color my image

B60, B63, BV04, C-1, C-3, C-5, E00, E21, G14, Y06, Y08, YG00, YG23, YR02, YR07
Layered over lilac cardstock with a black ribbon between the layers

Easy Peasy!
And I now have a bookmark to mark my spot when the story gets too SCARY!

A little Joy

Today I am sharing a card I made for the iSpy Sketches ISSC43

I really enjoy the sketches they feature, but I haven't played at iSpy Sketches for quite sometime.

So I say..."It's about time I do!"

I found these metal Alphabet badges at a boutique shop in Ballard, WA.

while shopping on Black Friday with my friend Jen.

Had to buy some, then I saw the sketch and knew they would be perfect for my card.

 

My papers are from my stash of old Close to My Heart papers

Scallop edge cut from Cricut cartridge "Just Because" cards page 42 <Truck-s> at 4 1/2"

Anything Goes at Digi Haven

My share today, is for the Design Team at Digi Haven

And I love making banners, my favorite banners are circle ones.

 

And don't forget about the fortnight (every two weeks) "themed challenges",

We had one scheduled, "Challengers Choice" for 08/31/12

but with the transition into the new format,

it turned into a Design Team Challenge, which we were to use the same digi image.

I forgot to do that and now there is this whole back story on our DT blog,

It is ust too funny, poking fun at me, which I wish I could share all our comments with you.

Anyway, here's the card I made, using an image other than what I should have used.

 I used an image from Michelle Perkett HERE, she is one of my favorite artist.

I love here style, beautiful work, whimsical, fantasy, check her ESTY SHOP too.

Sending Owl My Love

Week four of July brings our weekly Challenge at Made Especially for You.

Create a card using a specific technique.

We are making Easel Cards.

I absolutely love, love, love to design easel cards. 

My easel card starts with a 4" x 8" base.  Beginning at the left side, lengthwise, score at 2" and 4"

Crease 2" score line up like a mountain.  Crease the 4" score line down like a valley.

Cut another piece cardstock 4".  This will be the front of the card.

Decorate the front as desired and glue this piece to the first 2" section from left.

Decorate the inside, which is the 4" section on the right of the 4" x 8" cardstock.

Please note:  when you decorate the inside, you will need to use mounting tape.

This will help raise the paper up just enough to create the stop for the easel.
