Happy Spring

Today is my first time hosting a Bi-monthly Challenge as a new Design Team member at Colorful Creations.  My challenges are called "CC Frenzy Card Challenge".  They will be posted on the 1st and the 15th each month. I hope you will have a chance to check out their blog and play along. 





The challenge is to make a spring card with a hidden sentiment message.  My card is a swing up card.  You hold onto both sides and pull out, the swing up piece pops up with the message.

I used some Spring stamps from Close to My Heart and stamped tulips and snail in black in onto the paper.  I stamped both a second time on scratch pieces and colored all images.  I cut the ones on scratch piece out and mounted them onto the card.  The chick was stamped, colored and cut out.  I also cut along the wing to create depth.

I used "Elegant Edges" cartridge <stamp-s> cut at 3-1/2".  To finish the card layer all pieces as shown in the photo.  I stamped an outside sentiment on the flap, added adhesive pearls, button, and twine.
