It's time for another fortnight challenge at DIGI HAVEN
Our THEME for the new challenge is ORANGE and BLACK
Our sponsor for this challenge is Broken Box Design
Design Team was able to play with some images
I choose to use the Spooky Witch, but I think she is rather cute and not Spooky at all
I made an easel card for this challenge - starting with black 6 x 6 cardstock base
My designer papers are from Doodlebug Design, Inc. 6 x 6 pad - Haunted Manor
Copic markers used - C-3, C-5, E00, E02, E11, E35, E37, G07, G14, YR00,YR02, YR04, YR07
Sentiment is an old Close to My Heart stamp from the C1431 set - In the Month of October
Finished the card with washi tape, metal tag, orange buttons with black floss and twine
I have to admit that I was having some issues with coloring the little spaces on this image,
therefore she ended up being paper pieced because the broom colors were bleeding out
But in the end...I like it, especially my little tag :)
If you would like to play along with us - go to the How to Play tab
Remember to use a digital image on your card
Now take a few minutes to get inspired by what the rest of the Design Team has created

ReplyDeleteJenn...thanks for the sweet comment and the gentle way you stated that my card was not eligible. Hi Karen, sorry to be around so late. this is a fabulous card, sweet image, thanks for joining us at the paper shelter. Joey x
ReplyDeleteAwesome job and the paper piecing works great. I love using Promarkers and the ultra fine nibs for tight spots. I always have trouble with bleeding in tiny spots. You did a great job with this and I'm loving the easel design, your papers and the embellishments. ♥ Denise
