Team B is up this week and we have a great sketch to share with you
You will find the sketch below my card, as well as the TWIST

Here's my card...

Sketch #145
TWIST: Let it Snow

For my card I started with Vanilla A2 cardstock base
My layered background Designer papers are old scraps from Close to My Heart
I was so hoping I would find a piece of this paper in my stash and I did!
I used 1/2" and 1-1/2" circle punch for the snowman face and body in the same vanilla cardstock
The snowman face is from CTMH older set - D1308 All Decked Out
Sentiment from an even older CTMH set - C1209 Christmas Scripts
Chocolate ink
Copic markers:  E00, YR00, YR04
Finished the card with twine, navy button and clear adhesive rhinestones

I hope you enjoyed my sketch inspired card and my take on the TWIST:  Let it Snow
This card really makes me SMILE!

Something from My Kitchen

I just wanted to share a quick little tag and goodies I made this week in appreciation of a co-worker
This co-worker is male, he loves to bake, as much as I do and he wears bow ties on occasion

Before work on Monday morning, I baked up a batch of Peanut Butter Cookies

I have always enjoyed baking and this recipe was in a little cookbook my mother had in our kitchen
This cookie recipe is the very first cookie recipe I made as a young girl, around age 9 or 10
My mother has since passed on, but I want to see if I can find this cookbook in their kitchen
It is easy to remember, quick to make, and very tasty
And no flour for those who want something without gluten (see recipe below)

Quickly made this tag to add to the package of cookies, attached with turquoise bakers twine
Dollar Store Washi tape, which I just love these colors and the pattern
Felt bow tie from my stash and rhinestones to finish the tag

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix all ingredients together until smooth
Place in refrigerator for 5-10 minutes for easier scooping
Using a scoop or hand roll into 1 Tablespoon balls
sprinkle with sugar and slightly press cookie down with fork tines
Bake for 10-12 minutes
Yield: 2.5 dozen cookies

I hope you enjoyed my quick post
and
if you have a chance to make the cookies, tell me what you think

Fall with Digi Haven

Another fortnight has come and gone for Digi Haven, but with that brings a new challenge

Our New Challenge Theme:  Fall

Here's my card...

using a sentiment from our sponsor...

There are some really great samples on the blog from the rest of the Design Team
I hope you will check them out and be INSPIRED!

I have to say that making a card with only a sentiment was an interesting challenge
I think having some really great papers and embellishments is a must

My card came together quick...
All papers from my stash
I even found ribbon and buttons from my stash that matched the papers
It's AMAZING what I can find in my crafty space hidden in bins, boxes and bags

Come play along with us and show off your FALL cards
Remember...You must use a digital image and check out the How to Play tab

Looking forward to seeing what you link up
