Happy Fathers Day! My dad does read my blog, so No daddy-o this is not your real card. You'll have to wait until Sunday :)Over at Fantabulous Cricut it is Challenge Me Monday. Challenge #115 - Fathers Day card/project using outdoor theme: hunting, hiking, fishing, etc....
For my Design Team card I used a 3-1/2" x 8" card for my base. I started with a piece of Tan cardstock cut at 7" x 8", folded in half long side.
I added pattern paper from Glitz "Pretty in Pink" 6" x 6" pad. I cut the top piece 3-1/4" x 3-1/4", the strip piece cut at 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" and the black connecting piece was cut at 3/4" x 3-1/2".
I made the sentiment on the computer and cut the tag at 2" x 3-1/2" and trimmed the bottom with a square punch to make a banner.
My Cricut cut came from the "Just Because" Cards cartridge found on page 49, <Fishing> using the sticker feature cut at 3"
For the finishing touches I added brass buckle hardware which was attached with brass brads. I tied a jute bow int he center. I also added black adhesive rhinestones.
