She has Wings...

Today I have a card share for my Design Team inspiration over at Whimsie Doodles

I am using the image called She had Wings found in the People Digis in the SHOP

I think she is sweet!

I do not normally create Fussy cards, but when all was said and done...that is what this ended up as.

I layered paper over a white base, then added a scalloped circle I found in my box of Cricut cut, which I think works perfect for a Fussy card.

I colored the image using the following Copic markers:  Blender, B000, B00, B02, C-0, C-1, C-3, C-5, E00, E02, E33, E35, R11,R22, Y21

I then added pearls, lace trim and blue flowers.  To finish the card, I added a pink ribbon/bow

Today my share is a card I made for the Design Team at Fussy and Fancy.  

Challenge #67 - Photo Inspiration (Beach).  See my card and inspiration photo below.

I went for more of a vintage look, using this image I had.

I chose the colors grey, ivory and teal, which reminded me of the colors in the photo.

I was also inspired by the child at play.

This image brought back memories of my own two sons, 20 years ago.

They both loved to dig in the sand, splash in the water and would play for hours, happy and contented.

Boy Attitude

My card today is for Fussy and Fancy Design Team for challenge #65 Boy Attitude.  

I found a cute little boy digi image over at paper scissors and glitter.

I colored the image using my Copic markers:

YR00, E00, E02, E04, YG03, YG06, YG11, BG10, BG01, C-1, R20, Y00, Y06, Y08

I used the following circle punch sizes 1-3/4", 1-1/2", 1"

New Baby

A little late with my sharing for the Fussy and Fancy Challenge, Challenge #63, New Baby.  But here it is.  "Oh Happy Day".  My very first card as a DT member at Fussy and Fancy.  Still learning to color with my Copics, but enjoying using them.  I find coloring to be very calming.

To make this card I used pattern paper from a Miss Caroline - Dilly Dally 6 x 6 pad.  All solid card stock is from Close to My Heart.  My sentiment is from Impress and the cute little elephant is Bubba the Elephant from Memory Box.

I used the following Cricut cartridges:  George & Basic Shapes, page 108, <circle>, cutting two 2-1/2" on white.  Cut one in half.  Elegant Edges, page 65 <Flwers-s> cut at 3" on yellow.  Just Because, page 46 <Apple-s> cut two at 5-1/2" in yellow for the scallop edge.  I also cut banners and trimmed the ends with a square punch.

Finishing touches include doodles along edges, hanging the banner on a piece of red/white bakers twine and brads.  Thank you for stopping by today.
