My card is a standard A2 card with a chocolate base, layered with lighter brown, strip of striped paper and a blue scalloped edge

The image from A Random Fan, which you can find HERE, was colored using the following Copic markers:  Blender, B00, B02, B05, E00, E21, E33, E31, E35, RV21, RV23

Finishing touches:  Ribbon Bow, brown shimmer pearls and Hugs sentiment

Center Step plus Color challenge

Today begins a new fortnight challenge for us at Digi Haven

 

Our theme:  Black and White plus one other color - I decided to use RED

 

Here's my card... and I absolutely LOVE this image

She was really FUN to color too!

My card is a 6 x 6 Center step card with a red base

Layer of black with white dots over gray paper

 

I used the following Copic markers to color my image: 

B00, B02, C1, C3, C5, E02, E04, E53, R00, R27, R29, R32 

 

After coloring my image, she was cut out and layered on top

 

I also found a really cool Hockey Girl subway art to use...HERE

Which I changed into black, white and gray - perfect sentiment for my card

 

Finished with brads, hinges, red ribbon bow and a large black button with a brad in the center

#63 - is PINK and GIRLY with SPARKLE

 

We want to see lots of PINK and lots of SPARKLE this week,

My image is from Eureka Stamps called Daisy Swirl and it can be found HERE

 

I used some paper from KC & Company by Kelly Panacci (I think it is called Valentine)

The scalloped edge is cut from Cricut cartridge "Just Because Cards" - <Truck-s> at 5-1/2"

I colored my image using the following Copic markers:  RV21, RV29, BG10, BG15

I finished the card by adding a banner with a sentiment from Close to My Heart,

A ribbon/bow, as well as clear rhinestone gems along the scallop and center of the flowers

Made Especially For You

We would love for you to join us at Made Especially For You for week three challenge, where you make a card using three (3) of a certain item.  This week you are to use Eyelets.

My card was made using an Echo Park paper and sticker kit "Bundle of Joy".  I used two papers from the kit, bird and sentiment are stickers, the tree is a tag.  Finished the card by adding brown bakers twine and my three flower eyelets I found in my stash.  Quick and easy!

Tu Tu Cute

Today's share is a card I made for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #111.  The challenge is to make a project using a tux/dress or prom/dance theme.  The Design Team has some fabulous project to share, so please stop by this week and play along with us.

My card today features a pink and kraft color combo, which is fun to work with.  I used a digi image from Bugaboo Stamps, colored her in with the following Copic markers.

E00, E02, E21, E33, E35, RV10, RV21, RV23

I used the following Cricut cartridges:  Just Because, page 42 <Truck-s> for the scallop edge cut at 5".  George and Basic shapes the cut the numbers and letters, cut at 1"

Layer all pieces together as shown in the photo, working back to front.  I trimmed the paper I used for the numbers with a square punch to make banners.  For the finishing touches, I added two flowers, layered and pink adhesive rhinestone to the center.  I also added same rhinestones to the banner and upper edge of pink paper.

Get Your Girly On

Today's share is two firsts for me this week. First time I created a card for a challenge using my new Copic markers, so excited to final own a set.  My second first this week, is my first card creation as a Design Team member over at Southern Girls Challenge, challenge #43 "Get Your Girly On".  Please head on over to the blog and check out all the DT inspiration, play along with us and don't forget to link up your creation.  make sure to use all your fun girly papers, bling, and ribbon.

We have several sponsors this week, so I choose a digi image from Dts Arts, Puppy Love - Lara & Pup.


She is so adorable, and so is the little pup peeking out of her backpack.  I had a lot of fun coloring this image to coordinate with my papers.

I used the following markers: 

Face, Arms - E00, E02
Hair - E21, E33, E35
Dress, Backpack, stockings, shoes -
BV00, BV02, BV04, G00, G02, C-1, C-3


For the base of the card I used 6" x 6" light teal cardstock, layered two pieces of coordinating pattern paper, cut at 5-1/2" sq. and 5-1/4" sq.  A third piece of coordinating pattern paper for the bottom edge was cut at 2" x 6", with white lace trim at the bottom and lilac ribbon tied around the card at the top of this piece. 


I stamped the sentiment, from Studio G in black ink on to a 1-1/2" circle and layered it on top of a 2" lilac circle. I used my Cricut Elegant Edges cartridge, pg. 65 <Flower3> white, <Flwer3-s>  lilac using the oblong feature cut at 5".


To finish:  Cut out the digi image, layer all remaining pieces to the card.  I then added teal adhesive rhinestones around the oval cut out and at the bottom of the sentiment circle.

Sweet little Lamb

My share today is my Design Team creation for Fantabulous Cricut  - Challenge Me Monday #104 "Out like a Lamb".  The basic idea for this card had been developing in my head weeks.  I finally had time to create it last Saturday and I have been waiting to share with everyone.  It was so much fun to make and when I look at it, it makes me go all soft and squishy inside.  I hope it has the same affect on you.

I started with a 7" x 8" white cardstock, folded in half to create a 3-1/2" x 8" card.  I added 1-1/2" x 8" strip of Bubblegum gingham paper at the bottom of the card.  The next layer is a 3/4" strip and a 2" circle Citrus Leaf cardstock, with a 1-3/4" white circle.  Inside this circle I stamped a circle message that says "Cutie...Cutie" and used a second stamp inked in Bubblegum "Hello" for the center.

I used Create a Critter, pg. 71 <Lamb> cut at 4" for all layers.  The tulips are from the same cartridge, pg. 69 <Bttrfly2> using the accessory feature, cut at 3".  George and Basic shapes was used for the 2" Citrus Leaf circle.  The last cartridge I used was Walk in My Garden, pg. 115 <btfly1> cut at 1" using the blackout feature.  I cut a second one in Citrus Leaf and used the body only.

For my finishing touches I used Baby Pink ink to sponge around the white portion of the lamb, Bubblegum ink sponged around the gingham paper on the lamb, tulips, butterfly wings.  Citrus Leaf ink for the leaves, grass and butterfly body.  I added line doodles with my black  .01 micron pen to my cuts outs and the lamb got eyelashes and cheeks with little white dots for her eyes.  Adhesive pearls were added to the tulips, buttons for the lamb and the butterfly head.  And the last touch was the sweet little Limeade baker twine bows added to my little lambs ears.
