Sketch #102 Try Stampin' On Tuesday

Back today with a new sketch, #102 for the Design Team at Try Stampin' on Tuesday

Here's my card... which I have rotated.  That's what I like about sketches...

They give you a starting point, a blueprint of sorts.  Then your imagination and creativity takes over.

Enjoy!

 

For my card I started with a 6" x 6" lavender cardstock base.

All DP are from my very old selection of Close to My Heart papers from when I was a Consultant

Trying to use up my stash items when I can :)

I colored the image using the following Copic markers:

B00, BV00, BV02, BV04, C-1, E11, E31, E35, G000, G21, YR04, TR07, YR20

It's a New Year...

and Tuesday as well, which means another Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch challenge.

 

I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve!

My husband and I attended a party last night, with friends from church...

We are a loud group, full of chatter, laughter and cheer and as always, good eats too!

Baked Potato Bar, BUNCO and a Champagne toast at Midnight.

What a perfect way to ring in the New Year, surrounded by people you love and care about.

Isn't she just the cutest? 

My image is from The Digi Garden, and you can find Ursula's Cupcake with a Cherry on top HERE

 

I printed her out and colored her with the following Copic markers:

B00, B02, BG01, BG93, C-1, C-3, E00, E02, E21, E35, RV21, RV23, RV29, RV32, YR00

I cut out the cupcake icing and pieced it on top with mounting tape

 

Designer Paper:  My Minds Eye 6 x 6 paper pad - Fine & Dandy Girl

Scalloped border - Cricut cartridge - Just Because Cards, page 42 <Truck-s> at 4-1/2" trimmed

Scalloped circle - Cricut cartridge - Elegant Edges, page 23 <Sclop1-s> 1-1/2"

I stamped that with black ink on to pink cardstock and used a 1" circle punch

 

Finishing touches:  tiny adhesive pearls and some white hi-lights using a gel pen
