A Season of Splendor...

Today brings another share for our new fortnight challenge at Digi Haven

Our theme for this challenge Red and Green

 

Here's my card...

 

 

For my card I chose to use Kraft as my neutral and some scrap pattern papers in my stash

 

I printed the holly image found HERE on kraft cardstock for my first layer on top on the green card

 

I then printed image onto a piece of green scrap paper

Next I colored around the outlines with Copic YG63 and cut the leaves out

 

For the berries, I printed it one more time on a piece of deep red pattern paper and cut them out

 

These cut pieces, leaves and berries were paper pieced on top of the image printed on kraft

 

I used vineyard berry ink for my sentiment - really old Close to My Heart stamp

I added some gold metallic lines around the image swirls

Banner and Scalloped edge with adhesive pearls finish this card

And now for my card...

I absolutely LOVE this card!

I used Ava Flower Patch image colored with the following Copic markers:
C-1, E00, E11, E21, E33, E50, E53, R11, R27, YG11, YG23
Paper Pieced the butterfly, flowers, bow, dress and shoes
Sentiment, old Close to My Heart stamp
Finished the card by adding burlap strip and bow, wooden button with twine and adhesive pearls
